Good Practice Clinic

Good Practice is a small, expat-oriented family medicine clinic on Jalan Bangka Raya, a few minutes from Kemang and Cipete in South Jakarta. It was founded by Dr Steven Graaff, a Dutch-trained physician who studied at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, completed postgraduate family medicine training in the United Kingdom and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. The clinic's stated aim is to be recognised as the leading evidence-based primary care provider in Jakarta.

It is a genuine one-stop primary care practice: consultations in general and family medicine, an on-site pharmacy and a modern laboratory, teleconsultations by video anywhere in Indonesia, and house calls to homes, offices and hotels. There is also a travel clinic offering vaccinations and pre-travel advice, plus medical examinations for visa and KITAS purposes - a service most newly arrived foreigners in Jakarta need at some point. The clinic holds Paripurna accreditation, the highest grade, from Indonesia's Ministry of Health.

Consultations are available in English, Dutch and Bahasa Indonesia. Good Practice works with a number of international and expat-facing insurers including Cigna, Allianz, MSH, Global Excel, Fullerton and Admedika. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-18:00 and Saturday 08:00-12:00; walk-ins are accepted but appointments are encouraged.
