The South Jakarta Immigration Office (Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I Khusus Non TPI Jakarta Selatan) is the Directorate General of Immigration's office for the southern half of the city. Its main building is at Jl. Hj. Tuty Alawiyah No. 207 (the road formerly known as Jl. Warung Buncit Raya) in Mampang Prapatan. The office states that its working area covers ten sub-districts: Kebayoran Baru, Kebayoran Lama, Pesanggrahan, Cilandak, Pasar Minggu, Jagakarsa, Mampang Prapatan, Pancoran, Tebet and Setiabudi, which takes in Kemang, Pondok Indah, Cipete, Kuningan and much of the SCBD and Sudirman corridor where many expatriates live and work.
For foreign nationals, the office's website lists services covering visit stay permits (ITK), limited stay permits (ITAS) and permanent stay permits (ITAP), changes of status from ITK to ITAS and from ITAS to ITAP, change of sponsor, transfer of position and dual position, the Multiple Exit Re-entry Permit (MERP), exit permits, change of address and transfer of a permit to a new passport, birth and death reporting, proof-of-funds reporting, and matters relating to children with dual citizenship and to citizenship. Requirements and fees are set by the Directorate General of Immigration; the office publishes its PNBP (state fee) schedule on its website, and many foreign residents use a sponsor's HR team or a visa agent to prepare applications.
The main unit is open Monday to Thursday, 08:00 to 16:00 (break 12:00 to 13:00), and Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 (break 11:30 to 13:00). The office also runs smaller immigration service points at Pondok Indah Mall 3, Lippo Mall Kemang, Kebayoran Park Mall and the DKI Jakarta public service mall (MPP), mainly for passport services, with their own hours listed on the website. Enquiries can be made by phone, by WhatsApp or by email.
